Learn Odissi
Odissi training at Chowk includes building the basic form of the dance followed by learning a repertoire created by the late guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, a pioneer of Odissi's reconstruction.
Start Young
Junior Odissi
Open to children aged between 5-10 years, this class strikes a balance between discipline and fun through a series of exercises drawn from Odissi as well as theatre games to build body awareness and confidence on stage. Children will start by learning basic Odissi steps, and later repertoire items which will be performed yearly.
